My Journey
Currently working at Actabl, a B2B hospitality tech SaaS company that integrates four powerful products: ProfitSword, Hotel Effectiveness, ALICE, and Transcendent. Since 2017, my focus has been on creating product design solutions to address the needs of hoteliers, including concierges, front desk agents, engineers, and general managers.
To me, the primary role of a product designer is simple: improving the lives of our users. Knowing that I can make a difference every day is truly satisfying.
Beyond this, I believe it's crucial for designers to recognize the importance of aligning business goals and technology in their work, as this enables us to create solutions that balance strategic objectives with technological feasibility.
I began my design journey at Esdi – Superior School of Design, Rio de Janeiro State University, in 2009, earning my degree in 2014. Eager to broaden my horizons, I took part in an academic exchange in 2013, which brought me to Halifax, Canada. There, I studied at NSCAD – Nova Scotia College of Arts and Design for a year and a half.
Over the past 15 years, I've worked across different cultures and countries, sharing my expertise with companies in Brazil, the United States, and Canada. My experiences include collaborating with organizations like Jair de Souza Design, 19 Design, Cravo Ofício, The Coast, Co&Co, Monocromo, and a+a design. This journey has allowed me to work on a diverse range of projects and design disciplines, including web design, graphic design, branding, identity design, and exhibition design. It has been crucial in shaping my professional growth and ultimately led me to discover my true passion—product design and design ops.
